Safety routines
Sign-in and pickup
An adult on your list signs your camper in and out at the door, and we ask for ID until we know you. The plan says how arrival and pickup go for your child.
One-to-one support
Campers who need an adult beside them have one, set in the plan with you. The counselor stays with your child through transitions, snack and lunch as the plan says.
The quiet corner
A calm place to take a break, open to every camper. Counselors keep it in sight and check in without asking questions that need an answer.
Sun, water and heat
Campers wear a hat and have sunscreen on before camp, and water is on every table. On a hot day, outdoor blocks move into the cool rooms and we text families first.
Allergies, medicine and illness
Tell us about allergies and medicine at registration, and we ask what we need privately. A camper with a fever stays home, and if a camper feels ill at camp, we call you and a counselor stays with them until you arrive.
When a day is hard
A counselor stays with your camper, offers the break the plan names and calls you if the plan needs to change. We tell you what happened at pickup.
