The plan

A plan for your child, before the first day

No two campers have the same day. We start with a call, write down what we learn, and every counselor reads it before camp starts.

  • A call with our director after you register

  • A one-page plan, in plain words

  • A check-in every Friday

In the plan

What a camper's plan holds

Four things, written with you and kept short enough to read in a minute.

  • How the day starts

Where to arrive, who greets your child and what the first ten minutes look like, so the morning begins the same way every day.

  • Where to take a break

The quiet corner has soft seating, headphones and books, and any camper can go there at any time without asking.

  • How each activity works

Most activities have more than one way in. The plan says which ways suit your child, and a counselor offers them.

  • Who is beside your child

Your child's counselor, and the adult who stays beside them if the plan calls for one-to-one support.

One-to-one support

An adult beside your child, by need

Support is part of the plan, not an extra to ask for.

  • Set with you

On the call, we ask when an adult beside your child helps most: arrival, a block of activities, lunch or the whole day.

  • Staffed before the week

We schedule the counselor before the week starts, and we tell you their name on the call.

  • Changed as it should be

If your child needs more or less, a counselor tells you at the Friday check-in and we change the plan together.

Start with the call

Register for the weeks you want, and our director will call you to plan the first day.
